Brain Injury Services of Hamilton has been serving adults with acquired brain injury since 1987. The agency offers a continuum of community services from fully supported residential programs to community support for those living in more independent settings. Our caring, expert staff assist individuals and families who are realizing achievements in their quest for independent living, work, volunteer opportunities, leisure/recreational activities and academic pursuits. Our mission is to help adults living with an acquired brain injury (ABI) fully integrate into their communities. Services are located in West Hamilton, Central Hamilton, Downtown Hamilton, Hamilton Mountain and Vineland, Ontario, as well as Simcoe and Niagara.
THE ROLE OF VOLUNTEERS
Whether you are looking for a challenge, personal development or career advancement, volunteering at Brain Injury Services of Hamilton will help you to meet those goals. Volunteers assist staff to provide rehabilitation services and support to Brain Injury Services of Hamilton participants. Time commitments vary. Some volunteer positions may require specialised training. This will be provided to you as part of your volunteer experience at Brain Injury Services of Hamilton.
