Looking for a challenge? Personal development? Career advancement? Volunteering at Brain Injury Services will help you to meet those goals.
Volunteers assist staff as they provide rehabilitation services and support to agency clients. Time commitments vary from an hour a week to ten hours a week and we will make every effort to set up a visit activity and schedule to suit your interests and availability, as well as the clients.
Each volunteer will receive one-on-one orientation and support from the case facilitator who is working directly with the client. The volunteer must also complete a number of online training modules covering a number of topics from the causes and effects of acquired brain injury (ABI) to volunteer risks and hazards and confidentiality.
